Training Sessions

Training Academy

Our bread and butter, what we consider to be total player development. All details that are important both in and out of possession of the ball: accuracy of passing+receiving, movement off the ball, speed of play, and Game IQ.

Striking + Finishing

Ball striking techniques, proper body positioning and mechanics, shot placement on goal, and finishing inside the final third of the playing field.

Freestyle

Total comfortability on the ball, functional footwork and foot skills finishing in 1v1s and 2v2s to gain confidence taking on players.

Foundational

Entry program introducing our younger players to coordination, agility, and technical skills with the ball at their feet.

Goalkeeping

“Diving” into the technical work of keeper mechanics. Distribution, 1v1 situational awareness, diving, and footwork.

Coach Tony and all the other coaches at Salient Touch are AMAZING! The level of intenseness these kids train at is like no other. Coach Tony makes sure he explains the drills in a way anyone could understand but also makes it fun. I 1000% recommend this training academy if you want to see real results in a short amount of time or if your kid is stuck in a rut and need to get to that next level of play.

Can’t ask for a better training program and coaches ! Just within 4 months of training with Salient, I could see such a drastic confident and skill improvement in my daughter. I have other parents ask me “ What diff things you doing with her “Tony and rest of the coaching staffs are always professional with the kids. Right amount of toughness and fun !

The training at Salient Touch has been outstanding! The coaches are highly knowledgeable and create the perfect atmosphere for learning. Coach Tony is awesome! He actually corrects kids when they are doing something wrong. He encourages the kids! Most training facilities and their coaches seem to go through the motions. They never care enough to stop bad form the second they see it. I’ve definitely noticed my son improve since he’s started at Salient Touch! I highly recommend them.

My son’s been training with Salient Touch for a year! We love the ease of scheduling and customization of training to match each player. They offer so many avenues to participate in clinics throughout the year that are fun and challenging. We really feel the investment that they put in each player and couldn’t think of a better place to grow our love and skill set for the sport! Great job!!

The coach's at Salient have a great attitude towards the players. They hold the kids accountable and create an atmosphere for the kids to grow and progress in.They engrave a sense of ownership into the kids and I believe it makes them want to work harder. Salient also provides special sessions that will cater to your player's wants and needs. Top notch place with top notch coaching!
